The Esther Project Outreach Worker needed
We are looking for a part-time
Outreach Worker to join our team to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent subject to funding. The successful candidate will support our Outreach Manager with outreach and Netreach (online outreach), deliver wellbeing workshops at partner drop-ins across coastal West Sussex, build strong partnerships with local services, and support the delivery of training where needed.
Experience of working with vulnerable women, a trauma and gender-informed approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a small team are essential. A driving licence and own transport are also required.
Please note that this post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Outreach volunteers will require a DBS check.
Due to the nature of our outreach volunteering roles, it is a General Occupational Requirement that these positions be filled by a female (Equality Act 2010).
