We provide training for people working with women who may be at risk of sexual exploitation.

We provide training to service providers who are supporting women who may be at risk of sexual exploitation, selling or exchanging sex. Our training aims to raise awareness, equip staff and help combat judgement and stigma.

Supporting women who sell or exchange sex

  • The reasons why people might sell or exchange sex
  • Spectrum of choice
  • Risks
  • Signs
  • Stigma
  • Communication - equipping staff and new approaches
  • Helping women stay safer
  • Signposting and other resources/support

Our training can be adapted to suit your needs but is best delivered in either a one hour or three hour session, with individual participation encouraged. We can deliver online or face to face (within Sussex).

“I really enjoyed the training. Kath and Beth were excellent and I will definitely be taking the learning into my own work.”
The Forward Trust, (regarding our Online Training)

“The whole concept of going into conversations from a position of care for the individual has just managed to rid me of fear of having these conversations without sounding stupid because of my lack of direct experience....so thank you!”
Homelessness Support Worker

“Well presented and thought provoking, delivered all the information in a professional manner.”
CGL Worker

“Thank you so much for coming and doing the training with the team. Everyone said that is was not only delivered to a high standard but also how essential it was”
Emerging Futures Worker

"Some of the best training I have attended in a very long time. Very thoughtful and sensitive delivery of such an important yet not often spoken about subject - Kath had us all very engaged! The training was thought-provoking, and a great opportunity for me to reflect on my own practice and language. Thank you!"
