Funding Success!

Funding Success!

In this quarter, the Yada Manager and Fundraising Volunteer have been busy preparing funding bids and delivering presentations, and we have been so pleased with the positive responses to our mission and vision.

Here is a round-up of our recent funding success, of which we are extremely grateful:

We were delighted to be awarded £30,000 over the next three years towards core costs, providing stability and enabling us to continue to expand our outreach work.
Redeemer Church, Worthing: generously provided £1,800 towards our outreach work.
The Anchor Foundation: awarded £5,000 towards the salary for a TEP Outreach Worker.
National Lottery: awarded £10,000 towards the salary of a TEP Outreach Worker.
Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust: awarded £3,000 towards core costs.
Sussex Community Fund: awarded £10,000 from their Winter Support Fund to fund the salary for a TEP outreach worker.
St Mary’s Church, Worthing, Global Outreach Team: generously provided further funding of £1,250 to support our outreach work.
Kingsley Roofing have generously increased their regular charitable support to fund the Yada manager's salary two days a week.

The team and trustees would like to say a huge thank you to all of the financial support given over the last quarter. It would be impossible to facilitate any of the support mentioned in this newsletter without your generosity.

In February, Kingsley Coffee generously hosted a quiz night in support of Yada and raised £500 in total. It was a fantastic occasion, and we are so grateful to the local community for showing their support. Huge thanks to Fiona Vincent and the team at Kingsley Coffee for facilitating such a successful event.

In May, Kath, our very own Education & Training Development Worker is taking on the Edinburgh half-marathon to raise funds for developing our work supporting students at risk of sexual exploitation.
