Modern Slavery Update

 

 

The seat at the Network provides valuable opportunity for Yada to link in with the pan-Sussex work to combat Modern Slavery and establish connections with other organisations and professionals. 

Within the last few months, Yada and The Esther Project have seen growing engagement with the topic of modern slavery, culminating in the referral of two new service users. This has led to partnership working with Worthing Council, Emerging Futures and Migrant Help. We are delighted to say that, thanks to our connection with generous supporters, we have been able to provide safe, beautifully furnished accommodation for one of these referred service users, and continue to support both women closely.
